課程概述 |
瞭解社區健康營造的理論與實務，學習營造的技能，檢視與批判社區健康營造的優缺點與不足處，建立公共衛生身心社會的宏觀視野，具文化與性別敏感度。
學生從閱讀教材、口頭報告、參與討論及經驗分享的過程，可以瞭解社區健康營造的理論與技術。藉著實際進入社區，學生可瞭解如何激發民眾的健康意識並推動社區健康促進計畫。透過理論與實務的結合，預期可強化學生的社區健康營造知能。
Through the process of reading, presentation, discussion and sharing, students will familiarize the theories and skills related to community health building. Community participation can help students understand the strategies of promoting health awareness and health activities in communities. Students’ literacy of community health building can be enhanced by the combination of theories and practices. |

課程目標 |
學生能知悉社區健康營造的理論和技術，培養評論能力，具文化與性別敏感度，也能分享社區健康營造的實務經驗。
Students can describe the theories/skills of community health building with critical minds and cultural, gender sensitivities. They also can share their experiences on community health building practices. |

課程要求 |
1. 課前閱讀 一頁摘要 課堂上討論Students have to complete the reading assignments and participate in class discussion.
2. 特定主題課堂報告Each student is asked to select a specific topic and give an oral presentation in class.
3. 營造公衛校區 定期報告進度 成果展示 After field practice, each group has to hand in a working record.
4. Each student is required to read at least two English papers related to community health building and complete a term paper, due June 21, 2013)
